All motor starters are provided with thermal overload relay type LR1D which provide full protection against operational overload, single phasing and unbalanced voltages. The overload relay is manual reset type to ensure that motors cannot be started unless the tripping cause has been investigated and removed. Each relay has 1 NO / 1 NC potential free contacts and ambient temperature compensated from -40°C to 60°C.

DOL motor starters have D-Range contactors whereas in the star delta starters, D and F-Range contactors are used depending upon the HP rating. The liberal selection of contactor has been made for long trouble-free life. Motor starters have the option of various wide band coil voltages to suit different voltages requirement of the application.

Agro DOL starters in sheet steel enclosure up to 10HP have provision of additional terminal to accept incoming power cables. Whereas, fully automatic star delta starter up to 25HP have been provided with Add-on terminal blocks which can be pre-wired and fitted on to the contactor or overload relay to have easy and reliable cable termination.
